For the past 10 years Amal Trust has been organising Football Tournaments and during the years they have been many winners and many high profile guests invited by the Amal to attend the Award giving Ceremony. In 2003 the winners were congratulated by the chairman as well as the new revert and international football star Omar Kanoute, formally known as Frederic Kanoute of Tottenham Hotspurs. The Football Tournament itself took place during the month of October and attracted over 40 teams from across the UK. The Tournament was held at the Power League in Frien Barnet in North London. Winners received Trophies as well as certificates for record of their achievements as well as medals. In 2004 winners were congratulated and handed their medals and trophies by distinguished guest Eddie Newton, previous player for Chelsea, and the Chairman of Amal Trust Mr Hashim Charif.
Through the years the numbers of teams participating on the UK National Football Tournament organised and run by the Amal Trust, has noticeably grown to reach to more than 60 team in 2007. Since Amal Trust started to organise the football tournament is been categorised under the following four categories; Under 12; Under 15; Under 18; Under 21. However this year a new category has been introduce which is Over 21.

The 8 UK National Football Tournament 2005
In association with Islamic Relief UK, the Amal Trust held its 8 UK National Football Tournament on the 19 November 2005. The tournament attracted over 50 teams from across the UK.
